UPDATE: Community concerned after three bodies found in Brunswick home

Police suspect foul play in the death of a couple and their grandson.

Police identified Carson Holliman, 64, his wife Vondell Holliman, 62, and their grandson Christopher Holliman, 24, as the three people found dead inside a home on Wolfe Street on Sunday.

Brunswick police said the circumstances around their deaths is still under investigation.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the case.

Family member of 3 found dead in Brunswick: 'It’s really sickening'

The nephew of a couple found dead inside a Brunswick home on Sunday said he thinks they were killed in a case of mistaken identity.

Howard McKenzie said the couple lived in the home for more than 40 years before their bodies were found just after 1 p.m. Sunday.

“They were just ordinary people, loving people, hardworking people," McKenzie said.

He said family wants answers as to what happened to their loved ones.

“Life at the snap of a finger -- it's gone," McKenzie said. "People have no right to take somebody else life. ”

Family tells Action News Jax that Christopher Holliman was autistic. Family is asking for prayers during this tough time and thanked the community for its support.

Brunswick officers find 3 bodies during welfare check

Officers found the bodies of three people during a welfare check at a Brunswick home Sunday.

Officers said they went to the home in the 2200 block of Wolfe Street at 1:13 p.m. Sunday.

When officers entered the home, they found the bodies inside.

Neighbors in the area told Action News Jax reporter Larry Spruill that an elderly couple and their grandson lived in the home.

Brunswick police said church members called after the couple didn't attend a church service on Sunday morning.

The victims' name will not be released until next of kin has been notified, officers said.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the case, officers said.
