4 armed robbery suspects arrested in Clay County

Four people accused of carrying out an armed robbery are now in jail.

A viewer sent Action News Jax pictures of the Clay County Sheriff's Office SWAT team responding to Peppermint Avenue and Johns Cemetery Road in Middleburg, where the fourth suspect was arrested Monday afternoon.

Clay County deputies say the suspects robbed someone earlier in the day. Three of those suspects were arrested after a chase that ended with a deputy's cruiser being hit.

The fourth was arrested at a nearby home.
