5 signs you went to Stanton College Preparatory School

Updated:

Stanton College Preparatory School is consistently ranked as one of the top 10 high schools in the state. Stanton offers the International Baccalaureate Program, advanced placement and honors-level classes. The school also has a rich history. It was the first school of education for African-American children in Jacksonville.

Here's a list of undeniable signs you went to Stanton:

1. You were regularly called “nerd” or “geek”… and wasn’t at all offended by it.

2. Your backpack weighed enough to cause serious back problems.

3. You cried over a C.

4. You were a regular at the McDonald’s on 8th Street.

5. Twenty-plus years later, you’re still friends with your high school friends … and they’re all doctors.
