Activity at Alabama site where child's remains were discovered

Action News Jax saw activity Wednesday evening at the Alabama scene where the remains of a child were discovered.

We saw a white, unmarked van leave the scene, followed by what appeared to be several law enforcement vehicles.

We've reached out to JSO about this and are waiting to hear back.

New video from the Action News Jax SkyVision drone showed the remote, wooded area in Alabama where remains were found in the Taylor Williams investigation.

One could see officers, tents and a command center a few hundred yards off the main road, AL-28E.

Wednesday, Boyd Jackson showed us a photo album of his niece, Brianna Williams.  She lived with Jackson and his wife prior to joining the Navy.

TRENDING:

"[She was] sweet, never been in any type of trouble," Jackson said. "This is, like, her childhood home because we took her in when she was, like, 5 years old."

So far, JSO hasn't identified the remains as 5-year-old Taylor Williams.

Officers have brought charges against her mother, but still, Jackson wants Brianna Williams to know her family supports her.

"I just want Brianna to know she's not alone.  She's still loved.  Our family loves her," Jackson said.

"Is she a killer?" Action News Jax reporter Russell Colburn asked.

"No, prove me wrong," Jackson said.
