Lake City police are looking for a man in connection with a deadly drive-by shooting.
Deron Marquis Matthews, 28, is suspected of shooting a 25-year-old man Oct. 12.
Police said they found the injured man when they were called out to a residence at 12275 NE Fronie St. regarding a shooting. He was taken to Shands Lake Shore Hospital, where he later died.
After investigating, police said they identified and issued a homicide arrest warrant for Matthews.
Lake City police said he is believed to be armed and extremely dangerous. Anyone with information on Matthew's whereabouts is asked to call 911 and not approach or contact him.
Matthews is described as having brown eyes and black hair. He weighing 235 pounds and is 5 feet 11 inches tall.
Authorities said Matthews has tattoos on his face and neck, one of them with the words "Only the strong survive."
