Atlantic Beach police searching for suspects who stole woman's wallet from Poe's Tavern

Atlantic Beach police are searching for two women who they say stole a wallet from a victim's purse at Poe's Tavern at 363 Atlantic Blvd.

According to a Facebook post by the police department, the two women then went to the Target located at 13740 Beach Blvd. and tried to buy over $1,100 worth of electronics.

The suspects then went to the GameStop next to the Target and tried to purchase gift cards.

Atlantic Beach Police Department describes the first suspect as a white woman around 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds with dark blonde hair past her shoulders. The suspect was wearing a blue sweater, white shirt, black pants and a ball cap.

The second suspect was white or Hispanic, according to ABPD, and is between 5 feet three inches and 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 170 pounds with long black hair and wearing a black zipper shirt and gray yoga pants.

ABPD is asking anyone who has any information to contact Detective Fissel at 904-247-5859.
