Authorities: Potential victims sought after coach arrested for molestation

A former Flagler County soccer coach was arrested for child molestation this week.

Sean Stern is a former traveling coach with statewide connections, including the Jacksonville Armada FC.

Stern is charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation.

Officers said that Stern was arrested Thursday in Washington state. He remains held without bail in Tacoma.

The Sheriff’s Office urges anyone whose male child participated in soccer programs with Stern to talk to their children and find out whether they have been victimized or who may have vital information about Stern.

Detectives are also seeking any information on Stern that the public may have.
