Boil Water Advisory on Amelia Island

Nassau-Amelia Utilities has issued a boil water advisory for certain units in the Beach Walker Villas in the condominium community of Amelia Island Plantation.

The boil water advisory is in effect for units 1189-1196 until further notice, according to NAU.

The advisory is in effect because of a loss of pressure to to a broken line. NAU said that it will remain in effect until samples can be collected and tested.

According the NAU's Boil Water Notice FAQ's, an advisory "is issued as a precaution, even when contamination is unlikely."

NAU will notify residents when the advisory is no longer in effect.
