Bolles Football Coach Corky Rogers hospitalized in Tennessee

Bolles football coach Corky Rogers has been hospitalized in Tennessee, according to a statement from Bolles Head of School David Farace.
In a brief statement, Farace said Rogers experienced health complications while on vacation and is currently in stable condition.
"We ask the Bolles community to keep Coach Rogers and his family in your thoughts and prayers," said Farace.
Charles “Corky” Rogers has amassed more high school football victories than any other coach in Florida, according to the Florida High School Athletic Association's website.
The FHSAA lists his career record at 326-65-1, placing him among the top 20 still-active coaches and the top 50 all-time coaches in the nation.
Rogers graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville in 1961 where he played football, baseball and basketball, according to his FHSAA biography.
He earned a scholarship to play college ball at Georgia Tech and later played in the NFL.
He coached at both Ribault and Lee high schools in Jacksonville before taking the head coach job at Bolles in 1989 where he has led the team to seven state championships.
