A Jacksonville high school senior made a flute from the wood salvaged from a tree that was downed during Hurricane Irma.

Will Skinner, a senior at Bolles, made the flute as part of a school project.

The flute took "many hours" to make, according to the school.

Skinner is currently working on a second flute, which is expected to be several times larger than the Irma flute, the school said.
