City: Allegations against Animal Care and Protective Services unfounded

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The city of Jacksonville has completed its investigation into accusations of mismanagement and inappropriate behavior at Animal Care and Protective Services.

It says all allegations are unfounded.

Action News was the first to tell you about an email from a whistleblower inside the division.

It alleged delays in animal care, unnecessary euthanizations and inappropriate sexual conduct by workers.

The city said there's no evidence to support any of those claims.
