City Commission meets on "Human Rights Ordinance" Monday night

ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. —

The controversial “human rights ordinance” comes up again in Atlantic Beach Monday night.

The city commission is set to take the first of two votes to enact the new local law.

The proposed ordinance would protect people from discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity or expression in employment housing and public accommodations.

The Atlantic Beach City Commission meets Monday at 6:30 p.m.
