City Council has approved the plans for a bar and restaurant in Riverside that caused a stir among neighbors.
The Roost, a 150-seat restaurant with a full service bar, is planned for Oak Street.
It will be housed in a vacant building.
The historical area had to be rezoned to allow the restaurant to open.
Neighbors protested its construction because of traffic, noise and parking issues.
People who live around the building said the restaurant would make the community suffer.
