• Clay County deputy makes high schooler's Christmas wish come true

    GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. - A Clay County deputy made a Christmas wish come true for his friend, a high school student named Juan. 

    Deputy Tom Dunlap, a youth resource officer, heard Juan had been looking into getting a new bike for Christmas.  

    Dunlap and several youth resource officers bought a bike for the Clay County high schooler.

    The Clay County Sheriff's Office posted a video Sunday of a man dressed as Santa Claus and Dunlap delivering a bike to Juan at Clay High School. 

    The Sheriff's Office said in the post that Juan was excited about the bicycle purchased for him by deputies.

    "We have to admit, this one truly brought tears to our eyes." the Sheriff's Office said in the Facebook post. "Great job to the school administration, our deputies and everyone that made this a great Christmas for a special young man."
