The support continues to grow for a JSO family involved in a deadly suspected DUI crash.
Fred Cotton’s BBQ is raising money for the family of Officer Jack Adams who was critically injured in a crash that killed his wife, Cathy.
A little more than five days after the crash, Jack Adams was released from the hospital on Friday.
Hospital staff and fellow officers lined the hallway to cheer him as he was wheeled out of Memorial hospital.

“They put their life on the line every day for us,” said Sandra Ponsell.
The couple's teenage son and daughter escaped the crash with minor injuries. Ponsell said she doesn’t know the Adams family, but wants them to know she cares.
“I just thank them every day that they put their life on the line for me and my family, and this is the least I can do,” she said.

People left satisfied, knowing they helped a family that has done so much for the community.
“It’s a rough job out there being an officer,” said the Rev. Michael Jackson, pastor at Springhill Missionary Baptist church.
All the proceeds will go to the Adams family.
