One person hospitalized after Kernan apartment fire

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One person was taken to the hospital after a fire broke out at a Kernan apartment complex Saturday.

Crews were on scene at the Season's on Kensington Lakes Drive after a fire was reported just before 5 p.m. Saturday.

The fire started in a room on the second floor of an apartment, according to fire rescue officials.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation at the hospital.

The fire marshal was called to investigate the fire.
