Deputies: No evidence indicates Ponte Vedra child porn suspect took photos

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Photos that led to a man being charged with possession of child pornography appear to have been downloaded from an underground child porn website, according to

the St. Johns County Sheriff's office. There is no evidence to indicate that Neal Buckles, 19, took the photos that he is charged with emailing, deputies said.

The Sheriff's Office said the photos are not of local children. The child porn photos Buckles is charged with emailing are known to have been circulated in the past, according to deputies.

Detectives in the Sheriff's Office Cyber Crimes Unit began investigating Buckles about a month ago after they received a tip that he had shared child pornography.

The investigation revealed that Buckles had at least two images depicting young children engaging in sexual activities, authorities said.
