ORLANDO, Fla. — Walt Disney World Resort announced today that its Disney Skyliner gondola system will begin carrying guests high above the resort on Sept. 29.

The new mode of transportation will feature custom cabins that glide through the air, transporting guests between Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four resort hotels – Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and the new Disney’s Riviera Resort, scheduled to open in Dec. 2019.

Offering bird’s-eye views of resorts and theme parks, Disney Skyliner will be the newest transportation option at Walt Disney World Resort.
The Skyliner will join a fleet of monorails, watercraft and motor coaches that ensure getting there is half the fun. Some Disney Skyliner gondolas feature graphics based on Disney films, attractions and characters.
