JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — President Donald Trump is holding a rally for his re-election, Great American Comeback, in Jacksonville at the Cecil Airport. Action News Jax will be providing live updates from the rally.

8:20 p.m.- President Trump wrapped up his campaign rally.

8:05 p.m.- President Trump announced $47 million will go to a VA facility in North Jacksonville.

8:00 p.m.- President Trump thanks Governor Ron DeSantis and Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry. He also mentions having to cancel the Republican National Convention.

7:40 p.m.- Some demonstrators were kicked out of the rally while President Trump was speaking.

7:16 p.m- President Trump is speaking to a crowd of supporters.

6:54 p.m.- Air Force One landed Cecil Airport ahead of President Trump campaign rally.

5:56 p.m. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis speaks at the rally.

5:26 p.m. Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry speaks at the rally.

4:56 p.m. Protestors at the rally are being escorted out. Fans are booing and chanting “USA."

3:44 p.m. Action News Jax reporter Christy Turner got a peak of the stage being set up for the rally.

3:21 p.m.: The lines continue to grow with supporters waiting to get into the rally.


9:00 a.m.: Those heading to the rally will need to get their temperatures checked.

8:24 a.m.: Supporters started lining up to see the President speak tonight at 7 p.m. One supporter even started camping out 48 hours prior to the start of the rally.
