JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man was shot in a Target parking lot on Monument Road near Regency Wednesday night, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
According to JSO, there was a fight in the parking lot that led to the shooting.

Police said the man was in the parking lot with a woman, when there was an altercation outside a car involving three to four other people.
The man was shot in the hip and had been battered on his face and head, according to the Sheriff’s Office. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
Police are searching for the suspects. JSO said the suspects might have included one woman and the others were men. No other description was provided.
They are said to be in a blue Toyota Camry.
Target was temporarily put on lockdown because of the incident.
