Early-morning shooting injures teenager



JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A family member found a teenager on the sidewalk shot early Thursday morning.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded around 2 a.m. to a shooting in the 2800 block of Market Street, just south of Martin Luther King Parkway and two blocks east of Main Street.
The family member found the 19-year-old man unconscious on the sidewalk.
According to JSO, the victim was shot in the chest and receiving treatment at UF Health Jacksonville, where he is in stable condition.
Police are searching for the shooter in this on ongoing investigation.
