Family of victim: Arrest made in gas station killing

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The family of the man shot to death Monday night at a Regency gas station tells Action News an arrest has been made in his killing, but the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is keeping quiet.

They say Nicholas Stoner was one of two men involved.

Officials at the Duval County Jail tell us Stoner is charged with murder and accessory after the fact.

Right now, JSO will not tell us if Stoner is connected to the case. We demanded to see the public record police reported on his arrest.

JSO sent us a report -- pages of documents with nearly everything blacked out. We'll keep pushing for new information in the case.

Also on Wednesday, family and friends gathered today to bury 21-year-old Nedzad Botonjic.

A funeral was held this afternoon at the Islamic Center of Northeast Florida.
