Fire onboard River Cruise Boat

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department responded to a fire onboard a Jacksonville River Cruise Boat Saturday night south of the Fuller Warren Bridge.

The fire was in the engine room of Annabelle Lee, JFRD said.

According to the Coast Guard, the fire was found right before 8 p.m.

The boat was anchored and 46 people were onboard the cruise boat for a wedding party, JFRD said.

The people on the boat received lifejackets and were evacuated onto JFRD marine boats.

Officials say no one was injured.

The Coast Guard towed the boat to its dock and is handling the investigating.
