Fla. Gov. Scott kicks off Caring for Florida Families in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Florida Gov. Rick Scotts kicks off his Caring for Florida Families tour in Jacksonville Tuesday morning.

Scott is expected to visit Tutor Time on Old St. Augustine Road at 10 a.m. He will discuss new proposals for early childhood education, according to a news release.

The tour is to highlight new proposals and recent efforts to give Florida kids the best opportunities to succeed, the release said.
