Florida PowerBall approaches $400 million; still largest in the United States

The Florida PowerBall prize has grown to an estimated $359 million for Wednesday’s draw.

It remains the highest PowerBall prize in the United States.

“Each PowerBall rollover adds an extra dose of excitement for players across the state,” said Florida Lottery Secretary Tom Delacenserie. “The increase of sales also gives an extra boost to our contributions to education, which is a win for everyone.”

Jackpot prizes are paid in 30 annual installments or as a one-time, lump-sum payment. Jackpot prizes must be claimed within 60 days after the draw to receive the cash option of an estimated $219.6 million. Winners have 180 days from the applicable drawing to claim their prize.

The next PowerBall drawing will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 10:59 p.m. ET. Tickets must be purchased by 10 p.m. ET to be eligible for this drawing.
