Foreigner to perform with Atlantic Coast High School choir tonight

Rock icon Foreigner returns to the St. Augustine Amphitheater Friday night. The show will be the band's first North American tour date with an orchestra. Lead singer Kelly Hansen stopped by the Action News Jax studios to talk about the special performance.

"It's still a rock show," said Kelly Hansen, lead singer of Foreigner, "Everything is more accentuated with this Dave Eggar Orchestra."

During the show, the Atlantic Coast High School choir will also make an appearance onstage to sing "I want to Know What Love Is" with the band.

"I'm a product of the public school music programs and so we like to have a local choir come in and sing with us and we donate money to the choir," said Kelly. "We love to be able to give these kids that opportunity."

Foreigner will donate $500 to the Atlantic Coast High School chorus program. It will also be raising money for the Grammy Foundation at the show Friday night, to help keep music education alive in our nation's schools.

Expect to hear all your favorite hits at the show, including "Feels Like the First Time," "Waiting for a Girl Like You" and "Cold as Ice." Tickets are still available and you can purchase them here.
