Fourth of July Celebration

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The City of Jacksonville will be hosting the annual Fourth of July Celebration Downtown at the Jacksonville Shipyards. From 5 p.m. - 10 p.m., bring the family out to The Shipyards on Bay Street to celebrate Independence Day on the river. There will be live entertainment, interactive activities, water games, food and beverages and a spectacular fireworks display.

Fireworks over the St. Johns River will begin at 9:45 p.m. The fireworks will be launched off of two barges on the St. John’s River, in front of the Jacksonville Landing and to the east of the Main St. Bridge. The show will be visible along the Northbank Riverwalk and the Friendship Fountain Park.

Boat docking and anchoring will be available in designated areas of downtown. The JTA Skyway Service will be available for attendees free of charge. Parking will also be free at the Shipyards! For additional parking information or details about the event, visit JaxHappenings!
