Genpact to open Jacksonville office, hire 200 workers

A global professional services firm plans to open a Jacksonville office and hire 200 workers.

Genpact signed a lease for a 37,000-square-foot space at Capital Plaza in Jacksonville.

The company, which delivers digital transformation for clients, plans to open the facility on July 24 and add 200 jobs during its first year of operation in Jacksonville.

Genpact said it already employs about 5,000 people at 12 delivery centers in the U.S.

The company said the new Jacksonville office is part of the company's efforts to expand its U.S. presence by investing in strategically attractive cities.

"We chose to open a center in Jacksonville because it's a budding financial services hub and boasts both an extremely favorable business climate and an impressive digital talent pool," NV "Tiger" Tyagarajan, president and CEO of Genpact, said in a press release.

GOOD NEWS: The new office is slated to open next month and will bring 200 jobs to Jacksonville!
