Four Jacksonville-area coffee shops are transforming into the famed Luke's Diner in Gilmore Girls this week to celebrate the first day the show aired.
Sippers Coffeehouse on Gate Parkway will give away 250 free cups of coffee at a mini Luke's Diner on Oct. 5. The shop teamed up with Netflix for the event, which will take place from 7 a.m. to noon.
According to townofstarshollow.org, other Jacksonville-area coffee shops hosting similar events include:
-Breezy Coffee Shop Café, 235 8th Ave S, Jacksonville Beach, 32250
-Southern Grounds Coffee, 200 1st St, Neptune Beach, 32266
-Chamblin's Uptown Cafe, 215 N Laura St, Jacksonville, 32256
A total of 250 coffee shops in the U.S. will host the event.
