The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that happened just before 1 a.m. Sunday on Melissa Court West.
According to police, detectives responded to a call of a burglary to a residence and discovered one person shot.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
