The weather app Accuweather sent out an alert around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday alerting the Jacksonville area to a Tsunami warning.

Others are reporting along the Florida Gulf Coast and up and down the eastern seaboard the same alert was sent to users of the app.
Glynn County Emergency Management: Accuweather's accidental Tsunami warning happened during a drill on its app. "While the source is cited as the National Weather Service Office in Jacksonville, this was simply a drill and was not meant to be sent to the public." @ActionNewsJax https://t.co/P72H3RuIkE

AccuWeathers' website shows these alerts are actually tests for transmission.
