The Jacksonville area is in for a cold week -- and could even see some snow flurries!
A freeze warning is in effect for a lot of our area, and the feels-like temperatures will be in the teens and 20s.

Arctic air with brisk winds will create dangerously cold wind chill values Monday night and Tuesday morning across all of Southeast Georgia and most of Northeast Florida.
Frozen precipitation is possible late Tuesday night and Wednesday.
The last time Jacksonville saw snow flurries was Jan. 8, 2015.
National Weather Service sensors erroneously reported light snow in Northeast Florida Monday.
The sensors were likely triggered by mist, according to First Alert Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh.
We are tracking the POTENTIAL for some wintry precipitation early Wednesday. -- A lot of uncertainty -- but could see some freezing rain north and west of JAX as well as a few flurries/wintry mix. Will update today and tomorrow with new model runs. pic.twitter.com/YgZ9RuWyB3

Officials are warning people to wear warm clothing to protect themselves from the cold.
Bundling up in layers and staying dry is one of the best things you can do to stay safe during this week's cold . https://t.co/DwYxfBzGH0 #WinterSafety #flwx #gawx #jaxwx #jaxready pic.twitter.com/14hqBoGpeZ

The light snow report you are seeing at NAS JAX is likely mist. Haven't seen any reports of flurries.
