Jacksonville chef cooks for Oprah on Thanksgiving

A Jacksonville chef was part of the team that cooked for Oprah on Thanksgiving.

Oprah shared video of Kenny Gilbert on Instagram Thursday.

Gilbert said he is a specialty chef who assists Oprah's personal chefs during events at her California home.

He began his career at Ritz Carlton Amelia Island and went on to compete on “Top Chef” Season seven.

He owns two restaurants in the Jacksonville area -- Gilbert's Social on Southside Boulevard and Gilbert's Underground Kitchen on 8th Street in Fernandina Beach.
