JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — More Jacksonville news: Report: Juvenile sexually assaulted in bathroom at FSCJ
The Florida State College at Jacksonville sent a safety alert email to students on Monday warning about 'Punish a Muslim Day.' The email said it stems from an anonymous letter delivered to several mosques in London declaring Tuesday, April 3, 'Punish a Muslim Day.'
"We are appalled by the bigotry presented in these threats and stand with our Muslim community in the face of such hatred," President Dr. Cynthia A. Bioteau said.

The school said it is aware of the threat that is also circulating on social media and warned students to be vigilant and report any issues.
"As our Director of Campus Security Gordon Bass often says, 'If you see something, say something,'" wrote Bioteau.
