The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for the person responsible for shooting a woman in Brentwood on Sunday evening.
Police said the 31-year-old woman was shot near the intersection of West 22nd and Pearl streets.
Police said about five shots were fired as someone drove by the woman, who was shot in the leg.
She was taken to UF Health Jacksonville for her injuries, and is expected to be OK.
As of Sunday night, police did not have a description of the car or the person who shot the woman.
