The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said it is investigating an aggravated battery in the 9800 block of Norfolk Boulevard in Northwest Jacksonville.

Police said they responded to the 9800 block of Norfolk Blvd. in reference to reports of shots fired, and located a victim with a gunshot wound when they arrived on scene.
The victim was transported to UF Health with non-life threatening injuries.
JSO said they don't have a suspect in custody and are still investigating.
