The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after they say they got a call from a man who shot another man Monday night in the 1500 block of West 15th Street.
Police said they got a call at 6:15 p.m. from a man who said he shot someone in a backyard.
Officers arrived and found a man dead in the backyard with at least one gunshot wound to the chest.
No arrests have been made and police are not looking for a person of interest. Police said the two parties could be related.

The man who called police is cooperating with the investigation. No other witnesses saw what happened.
