JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating reports of shots fired in the 6700 block of Commonwealth Avenue near Interstate 295.
The reported shooting happened in the parking lot of Zaxby's on Commonwealth.
At 4:30 p.m. an officer working at the tax collector's office heard shots and went to investigate.
A witness said a man shot several times into a white vehicle. By the time the officer arrived, the suspect or suspects were gone and he wasn't able to find anyone who was involved in the shooting.
