Jacksonville police responding to crash with injuries on I-95 at 8th Street

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said it is responding to a crash with injuries on Interstate 95 southbound at 8th Street.

A Jacksonville Transit Authority bus and two other vehicles were involved in the crash.

A gray car hit a white car, which caused the white car to spin and hit the bus, a JTA spokesperson said.

The bus driver was alone on the bus and is not injured. Action News Jax is working to get information about the injuries of others involved in the crash.

Southbound lanes were closed as a result of the crash, but have since re-opened.
