JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office on Saturday released surveillance pictures of a man who may have stolen the car believed to have been used in the deadly shooting at the Raceway Gas Station on Golfair Boulevard Friday night.
Police say the man is seen in surveillance images from July 31st stealing a silver 2013 Kia Forte from the Ramada Inn on Hartley Road.
Also on Saturday, JSO identified the victim of the shooting as James Clarence Young, 40 years old.
Police say he was shot several times and that it appears he was targeted.
Police are reviewing security camera video from Raceway station and are also asking witnesses to come forward.
Dozens of people gathered around the gas station as police investigate. One woman could be heard exclaiming, "Oh my God," as she left the scene.
