Argyle Forest pharmacy targeted twice in a week

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police are searching for a person who broke into a pharmacy on Argyle Forest Boulevard twice in two days.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said a person broke into  Med Smart Pharmacy on Sept. 21 between 1:45 a.m. and 2 a.m. Police responded to the alarm and found two windows where broken screens were removed and narcotics were stolen.

Police then responded on Sept. 23 between 3:40 a.m. and 6 a.m. to a burglary and arson at Med Smart Pharmacy. Police found a rear window broken and fire and smoke. Firefighters responded and extinguished the fire.

A safe was entered and money was stolen and a large amount of narcotics were stolen.

"I was more upset than anything else basically because he came back," said Masami Quarles, pharmacy technician. "But with the damage that he did was just more work for us to get back on track."
