Jacksonville teen disappears on July 11, MAD DADS calling on community to help find him

A Jacksonville mom is desperate to find her son, who’s been missing for more than a week now.

His name is Corbin Johnson. His family and friends haven’t heard from him since July 11.

Action News Jax Courtney Cole spoke to one of his friends and an advocacy group calling on the community to help find him.

In this picture, is the bright, smiling face of 18-year-old Corbin Johnson.

It's the face family and friends say they haven't seen in more than a week.

"This is her baby and she doesn’t know what’s going on, what happened, or anything,“ Donald Foy told Action News Jax.

Foy, the president of MAD DADS Jacksonville says they want to help ease the mother’s pain.

"I just imagine what her heart is going through and this is why MAD DADS is out here trying to help,” Foy said.

According to the JSO incident report filed by Johnson's father, Corey Morman, on Friday, July 13:

He dropped Johnson off at a UPS for a job interview on July 11, at 5:00 p.m.

A man who didn't want to be listed on the report picked him up at 7:45 p.m. and dropped him off at his mom's house on Biscayne Bay Circle.

His mother, Milissa Jackson-Morman, says the last time she saw her son was at her home at 9:30 p.m. on July 11.

Jackson-Morman told police she doesn't know who he left home with.

“We want information to be bought forward that this family will be able to find some type of closure,” said Foy.

Two of his friends, Jahreeka Sims and Mycah Johnson, also told JSO they spoke to Johnson via FaceTime around at 4 p.m. on July 11.

Action News Jax Courtney Cole spoke to Jahreeka Sims.

While she wasn't comfortable going on-camera, she told Cole,  when she spoke to Johnson-- he was at Amazon for a different job interview.

Sims said he seemed like he was OK when she spoke to him.

Sims also told Action News Jax Johnson called them back around 9 o’clock that night and the last thing he told them was that he "loves them" and to "be safe."

Johnson’s father told JSO he also sent his son a text at 8:44 a.m. on Thursday, July 12—but never received a response. Morman told police that’s not normal behavior from his son.

“What we’re doing is reaching out, asking the community to break the code of silence and tell what they know about where Corbin is and what’s happened with him,” said Foy.

Morman also told police his son was in good mental and physical condition.

Johnson's friend Sims also told Action News Jax, a man at a gas station 3 miles away from the location of his Amazon interview, told her he saw Johnson get into a black car.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says he has never been reported missing before.

Anyone with information about where he might be is urged to call the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at (904)-630-0500 or Crimestoppers at 866-845-tips.
