JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville announced Thursday their support for the city of Orlando following the mass shooting at Pulse.

The shooting at the nightclub killed 49 people and injured 53 others. The shooter is also dead.

The Jaguars are engaging with the fans to raise money to City of Orlando’s OneOrlando Fund. Fans who donate a minimum of $25 will have the option to receive a custom “Orlando United” cap as a thank you gift.

The Jaguars Foundation said they understand people are suffering and that's why they want to help donate money to the OneOrlando Fund.

The collection will end on June 24. The net proceeds will be donated by the Jaguars Foundation to the City of Orlando’s OneOrlando Fund.

Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles, who attended Orlando’s University of Central Florida, will donate $10,000 from his foundation to the OneOrlando Fund to help victims and families dealing with the tragedy.

“Growing up near Orlando, I am heartbroken by the events of this past week,” said Bortles. “My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the victims and their families and I hope they continue to battle through these tough times. It’s been inspirational to see the way the City of Orlando has rallied around these families and I wanted to contribute. We’re honored to help support the OneOrlando Fund and its extraordinary mission to make a difference in Central Florida.”

Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry is launching a "Dear Orlando" postcard campaign where people can fill out postcards and it'll be sent to Orlando.

The postcards will be available at Jacksonville public libraries starting next week. The campaign will run through July 3.

“My heart -- and the hearts of our entire community -- go out to the city of Orlando,” said Curry. “I applaud Blake and the Jaguars for their leadership and support of efforts to help the community heal. I encourage Jacksonville citizens to join us in sharing hope with our Florida neighbors.”

All Jaguars fans and Jacksonville residents interested in donating should visit the Jaguars' website and share their support on social media using the hashtag #JAXFORORLANDO.
