Jaguars to unveil giant video boards Saturday after Fulham soccer match

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — It's a big weekend for EverBank Field.

The Jaguars will unveil two giant video boards, the grand jewel of the $63 million in upgrades at the stadium.

The video boards are 60 feet high and 362 feet long, the largest in the world.

Fulham Football Club, owned by Jaguars owner Shad Khan, will play a friendly with DC United of Major League Soccer.

The excitement doesn't end there.

Country music superstar Carrie Underwood will perform after the unveiling.

The gates open at 5 p.m. Saturday.  The match starts at 6 p.m.  The video board unveiling will happen around 8 p.m., followed by the concert.

"We are truly excited about Saturday’s unveiling because it will give our fans an idea of how great the in-stadium experience will be when the Jaguars take the field here next month and well into the future," Jaguars Owner Shad Khan said.  "Our vision from the beginning was to make EverBank Field a destination, to give our fans the best game day experience possible, and to keep and attract world-class events to downtown Jacksonville and the surrounding community. I am confident that all of these goals will be met."

The north end zone plaza will also be unveiled.
