JFRD: Crew sent to put out any possible flare-ups at Southside fire

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said they received numerous calls about smoke coming from where a brush fire took place Saturday at Hodges Boulevard and J. Turner Butler Boulevard.

JFRD said they sent a truck and a bus to put out any possible flare-ups.

They said the Florida Forest Service is also sending out a unit.
