The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office identified the man from Saturday morning's crash as Yung Van Lam, 49, of Jacksonville.
The crash reportedly happened at St. Augustine Road and Community Road.
Police were initially notified of the incident at 9:12 a.m. as a crash with injuries.
Van Lam was testing out a new Jeep at the intersection when the vehicle flipped and landed on top of him, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
JSO said that Van Lam lost control of the vehicle.
Van Lam was pronounced dead at the scene, according to JFRD.
JFRD initially stated in a tweet that a vehicle rolled over and on Old St Augustine Road and there were serious injuries.
Traffic alert....crews are responding to Old St Augustine and Community Rd to a mva with a rolled vehicle with serious injuries.

Crews have determined the injuries are too significant , this is now a fatality.

JFRD said the man was not wearing seatbelt.
