JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — WATCH LIVE: Action News Jax's Elizabeth Pace has the very latest on the fatal, double shooting on FOX30
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said officers responded after a call reported that multiple people were shot on Beaverbrook Place.
The Sheriff's Office said a man and woman were both shot several times.
The man died at the scene and the woman was taken to a local hospital, according to JSO.

The Sheriff's Office said that several witnesses are cooperating with police and are being interviewed.
JSO is asking for anyone with information to come forward.
The Sheriff's Office said they believe at this time that the victims were shot inside a car and that the suspect was on foot.
This is Jacksonville’s 10th shooting in a week. At least six people have died in that span.
