JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville Sheriff's Office corrections officer has been arrested in connection with a road rage incident that happened in April.
JSO Undersheriff Pat Ivey announced the arrest Andrew Futch on Thursday afternoon. Futch was arrested Thursday morning and an investigation into the incident.
Futch has been with JSO for over two years. He has aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
JSO said Futch had an altercation with another vehicle, and he and the other driver traded obscenities with each other. JSO said Futch produced a firearm and pointed it in the direction of the other car.
JSO said the firearm reportedly used by Futch was his police-issued weapon.
