JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A Jacksonville Sheriff's Office corrections officer was arrested Friday and is suspended without pay.

Ian Murray is facing a grand theft charge and two counts of falsifying official documents by a public servant, according to a release from JSO.

An investigation by JSO's Integrity Unit found that Murray submitted military leave requests on two occasions that he did not have military duty. Murray is a sergeant in the Army Reserves.

Murray has been with the JSO since 2009 and was assigned to the Montgomery Correctional Center on the Northside.

The JSO says Murray is on leave without pay.
