JSO investigating death of 2-month-old in San Jose area

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said they are investigating the death of a 2-month-old that occured early Sunday morning.

According to JSO, officers responded to the San Jose area at the request of Jacksonville Fire and Rescue.

JFRD was responding to a call of an unresponsive infant.

According to JSO, the baby was transported to Memorial Medical Center after attempts to revive the infant were unsuccessful.

JSO said no foul play is suspected.
